Angels Among Us
I have been having a hard time at work lately. There have been complaints from certain individuals, (whom I have no idea who) who have been complaining that I do not answer the phones quickly enough and that I am not doing my job adaquetly. Not to mention many fingers being pointed at me lately outside of work. Well I know that I am doing my best, the best that I can when there are up to 4 calls coming in at a time to answer as many as I can. And doing my best at going above and beyond of what is asked of me. Its sad that there are some people in this world that just have to complain about something to fulfill there day, and end up taking it out on someone that doesnt deserve it. Well, there is a sweet young gentlemen with Down Syndrome that works here that helps out with cleaning around the building, and well lets just say he made my day. There were multiple calls coming in at once, and I was making sure they got where they needed to go, and upon finally getting off the phone, he walks by and simply says, "Your doing a good job" with a smile on his face. He has been my little angel for the day.

CUTE!!!
makes you realize how important it is to be kind to others...you never know when someone might be having a bad day--
hope your week improves.
yeah, seriously - being kind is da bomb. I'm so glad he said something so wonderful to you - and with perfect timing. :)
I just love working with people who are developmentally delayed. They are so accepting and love everyone. We could all take a big lesson from them in being kind and non-judgemental. I am sorry you are not having such a great day.
Oh yeah and Chad just told me that you watched the boys yesterday for a little while. Thanks so much, It is nice for him to be able to go and do something. Me being in this play has been a big sacrifice for him and he has been such a good sport about it.
YOU ROCK!!!!!
p.s. this is getting long but I also wanted to say I have your tickets so I will need to get them to you :)!
That is a reallly sweet story - thanks for sharing. I'm glad you had a tender mercy moment - HF knows when we need a boost or too.
You are being watched over, and are loved DEARLY.
awww
isn't it wonderful to get a compliment at a time when you need it the most.
Well, I'd suggest to the complainers to sit in your chair and see how quickly they can answer the phone when it is ringing off the wall. All you can do is your best. I know how you feel, because that used to happen to me at work as well. When working in a medical facility, phones can be ringing off the wall. Guess what--you can only answer one call at a time and handle that one call at a time. I'm glad you had an angel tell you that you were doing a good job. You know you are doing a good job so the others will just have to suck it up and if they can help out, they should. Work should be a team effort, not pointing fingers. Hope things work out for you. It isn't fun to work in an environment when everyone is on your back. Keep smiling your beautiful smile. Love to you. Aunt Shirley
