So I own my very own piece of history! Life has been so crazy I totally forgot about it. I found it at a flea market back in Missouri just before we moved out here to Idaho. It was in a big frame in a booth and almost walked right by it, but it caught my eye and as I looked at it closer I yelped in excitement at what I found! I couldnt believe it! A newspaper from 1813, thats
1813 people! Almost 200 years ago! Im not sure if its worth anything but its sure worth a lot to me. Being born and raised in Massachusetts I have a lot of New England pride. I love telling people Im from such a historical place. One of my favorite classes in college was American Heritage, learning about our fore fathers and the constitution, which took place in my old stomping ground. So naturally when I found this I HAD to have it. Plans are to frame it in special double sided glass so you can flip and see both sides of it, and to make sure its preserved from light. But who knows when that will be.
