If you watched the Today show this morning, (which I always do before heading off to work, morning ritual) you saw that Missouri was undecided, too close to count...thanks to me!! Haha, no not really, but let me explain. I go to vote last night, drive a whole half hour out of my way. When I reach my voting destination, I am told I cant vote! Atleast at that location. Its where we were registered to vote, under my inlaws address where we used to live before our current location, we just hadnt gotten around to changing our address. Well, I call James because I see his signature right above mine, knowing he was able to vote that morning. He said I should be able to, they let him. Well, his father in law is in the background getting upset saying the same thing. So they end up coming over, James maintaining his distance outside while his Dad storms in demanding to know why I cant vote! At this point, I am ready to get out of that place and just go where they told me to, I couldnt believe how outraged he was! He was saying he was going to go the news media and tell them what happened, but first he would go over to the court house to see what they would say. But before I left, I made sure to give them my apologies for the outburst and that I understood they were just doing their job. The looks on their faces was priceless, like, "I understand, I have one of those at home too." Oh goodness, what an evening. Needless to say, I went back home to the location they told me to go to, gave them the information and got my ballot. Too bad my one vote didnt get me the results I wanted, oh well. It will be interesting to see what these next 4 years will be like. Ok, lets be serious here, Im scared out of my mind to see whats gonna happen these next 4 years! Just gotta have faith I guess. I need to get me a garden. (I know your laughing Tina:)

HAHA, I am laughing!! That's soo funny!! I'm glad you got to vote though. :)

Pray for your leaders. ALL of them. And I want to know more about this Jared guy!

Proud of you for voting. I got to cast my ballot in the second-closest state. Ah, well. At least we felt like our votes mattered.
I guess we all voted for the same candidate who, unfortunately, didn't make it. Jen's right--pray a lot. We'll have to and hope that this country turns around and that the President-Elect chooses the right people to help him do the right thing. Aunt Shirley
We all know about the 10 Virgins and how 5 were prepared...so my advice is go down now and officially register...even if you do not think you are going to be there. They have a lot of extra voting opportunities that you should be interested in. Many of them can affect how many taxes you pay on your home. Register Today.
If you had voted in Northboro, you would have been turned away and your father in law would have been screaming at me.
Glad you perservered. mom
